Spinny expands partnerships with Nissan, MG Motor and Tesla

Spinny has expanded its partnerships with Nissan Motor India, JSW MG Motor India and Tesla, broadening its role across different stages of vehicle ownership, from buying and selling to exchanging and upgrading cars.

The partnership with Nissan India introduces a vehicle exchange programme for customers purchasing a new Nissan. Through Spinny, customers can have their existing vehicles evaluated and exchanged, with benefits of up to ₹75,000. The programme is designed to simplify the exchange process, with Spinny’s Buying Letter accepted as proof of exchange.

Spinny has also been named a preferred exchange partner for Tesla under its Switch and Save programme. The arrangement enables customers moving to a new Tesla to sell their existing internal-combustion-engine vehicles through Spinny, creating a smoother transition to electric mobility.

The collaboration with JSW MG Motor India focuses on strengthening the pre-owned electric vehicle ecosystem. The partnership combines MG’s EV expertise with Spinny’s capabilities in vehicle inspection, battery assessment, certification, refurbishment and retail.

The programme covers models including the MG Comet EV, MG Windsor EV and MG ZS EV. Customers purchasing certified pre-owned MG electric vehicles through Spinny can benefit from battery health assessments, certification, OEM warranty continuity and fixed pricing, alongside Spinny’s inspection and refurbishment processes.

Battery health assessment is also being incorporated into the evaluation process for customers looking to sell their electric vehicles. The initiative is being offered across several Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and others.

The partnerships reflect Spinny’s efforts to move beyond its traditional used-car business and build a more integrated automotive ownership ecosystem. By working with leading vehicle manufacturers, the company is expanding its capabilities across new-car exchanges, pre-owned EVs and vehicle upgrades.

The collaborations come as India’s automotive market experiences growing adoption of electric vehicles and increasing demand for organised, transparent and reliable pre-owned vehicle services.

By combining OEM expertise with its vehicle evaluation, refurbishment and retail infrastructure, Spinny aims to make the process of buying, selling, exchanging and upgrading vehicles more convenient for customers while supporting the development of India’s evolving EV ecosystem.
