Renault has unveiled its new Niagara pickup, designed primarily for Latin American markets as the company looks to expand its international presence beyond Europe. The model will be produced at Renault’s Santa Isabel plant in Argentina and is aimed at markets including Brazil, Argentina and Colombia.
The Niagara combines the practicality of a pickup with the comfort and technology associated with a C-segment SUV. It features a double-cab configuration and a cargo bed designed for both professional and personal use. The vehicle will initially be offered with a turbocharged petrol engine, with hybrid versions planned for the future.
The launch forms part of Renault’s broader international product strategy, with the company planning to introduce new models outside Europe over the coming years. The Niagara is expected to strengthen Renault’s position in the growing Latin American pickup market while expanding its product portfolio beyond its traditional European focus.
