Shrikant Garge Joins ROADGRID as Vice President – EV Operations & Service

ROADGRID has appointed Shrikant Garge as Vice President – EV Operations & Service, strengthening its leadership across electric vehicle charging operations, project execution and service delivery. Bringing more than 30 years of experience in infrastructure, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), operations and customer service, Garge will oversee key operational functions as the company continues to expand its electric mobility infrastructure business.

In his new role, Garge will lead ROADGRID’s overall EV operations and the execution of government tender projects. His responsibilities will also include project coordination, on-ground delivery, operational readiness, and operations and maintenance (O&M) for key accounts, including Noida Power Company Limited, BSES and V-Green.

The appointment comes as India’s electric mobility ecosystem places increasing emphasis on reliable charging infrastructure, effective project implementation and long-term service performance.

Driving EV Operations and Project Execution

The deployment of EV charging infrastructure involves several interconnected activities, from project planning and coordination to installation, commissioning and operational readiness. Ensuring that charging assets remain functional after deployment is equally important to the overall performance of a charging network.

At ROADGRID, Garge will lead operations and oversee the execution of government tender projects, bringing together project delivery and ongoing service responsibilities. His remit includes coordinating on-ground activities and supporting the operational requirements necessary to bring infrastructure projects into service.

The role also covers operations, maintenance and service for key accounts, connecting project implementation with the ongoing performance of deployed charging infrastructure.

More Than Three Decades of Industry Experience

Garge brings over 30 years of professional experience across infrastructure, EPC, operations and customer service. His background spans areas relevant to the execution and management of complex projects, where coordination between teams, delivery schedules, operational preparedness and customer requirements is essential.

This experience is particularly relevant to EV charging infrastructure, a sector that requires coordination among infrastructure developers, equipment providers, utilities, project authorities and service teams.

As charging networks grow, operators must focus not only on installing chargers but also on maintaining availability, addressing service requirements and ensuring that infrastructure performs reliably over time.

ROADGRID’s Focus on EV Charging Infrastructure

ROADGRID is an electric mobility infrastructure company focused on EV charging networks, charger manufacturing, installation and commissioning, and related software solutions. Its stated objective is to develop accessible and reliable charging infrastructure across public locations, cities and intercity highways.

The company’s work spans charging infrastructure deployment and associated services, supporting the development of an ecosystem designed to serve different electric vehicle segments.

As electric mobility adoption expands, charging infrastructure providers face the challenge of scaling deployments while maintaining operational consistency. Project execution, service responsiveness, maintenance planning and coordination with clients are all important elements of this process.

The Growing Importance of Operations and Service

The effectiveness of an EV charging network depends on more than the number of chargers deployed. Equipment reliability, timely maintenance, effective fault resolution and coordination with site stakeholders influence the experience of drivers and fleet operators.

For infrastructure companies, operations and maintenance functions help bridge the gap between project completion and sustained service delivery. They also support relationships with utilities, commercial customers and other organisations that depend on reliable charging infrastructure.

Garge’s responsibilities across EV operations, government project execution and key-account service place these functions within a unified operational remit at ROADGRID.

Strengthening ROADGRID’s Leadership for the Next Phase

Shrikant Garge’s appointment as Vice President – EV Operations & Service adds extensive infrastructure and operations experience to ROADGRID’s leadership team. His responsibilities span the project execution and service functions that contribute to the development and ongoing performance of EV charging infrastructure.

As India’s electric mobility sector continues to develop, effective infrastructure delivery and dependable maintenance will remain important to building charging networks that can support the needs of individual EV users, fleet operators and institutional customers.
