BLive has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors to deploy up to 1,000 Tata electric mini trucks through BLive PRIME, its franchise-owned commercial EV fleet programme.
As the first step of the partnership, BLive has inducted its initial batch of Tata Ace Pro EVs, marking the beginning of on-ground deployment.
Through BLive PRIME, entrepreneurs and businesses can invest in and own fleets of electric cargo vehicles, starting with an investment of approximately ₹45 lakh, while earning assured rentals from deployed vehicles.
BLive manages the end-to-end fleet lifecycle, covering enterprise demand, vehicle deployment, fleet technology, charging ecosystem integration, maintenance and day-to-day operations. The model is designed to provide businesses with a professionally managed commercial EV ownership platform.
Sandeep Mukherjee, Founder & CEO, BLive, said the cargo EV segment is witnessing strong demand as businesses increasingly evaluate electric fleets for intra-city logistics. He added that the planned deployment of more than 1,000 Tata electric vehicles reflects BLive’s ambition to build scale in India’s cargo EV segment.
Pinaki Haldar, Vice President & Business Head-SCVPU, Tata Motors Ltd., said the partnership will support the expansion of electric cargo mobility solutions. He highlighted Tata Motors’ electric commercial vehicle portfolio, including the Ace Pro EV, Ace EV and Intra EV, designed to address different cargo and logistics requirements.
The partnership comes as India’s commercial logistics sector experiences growing demand for electric cargo vehicles, driven by the expansion of e-commerce, quick commerce, organised retail, manufacturing and urban supply chains.
Businesses are increasingly considering electric commercial vehicles to reduce operating costs, meet sustainability goals and improve the economics of high-utilisation intra-city logistics.
The collaboration marks another step towards expanding India’s electric commercial vehicle ecosystem, combining Tata Motors’ electric vehicle portfolio with BLive’s fleet management and EV mobility platform.
