Uno Minda has launched the UNO-AMP-4-100, a compact four-channel amplifier designed to enhance in-car audio performance while allowing flexible installation in vehicles with limited space. The new amplifier can be positioned in areas such as beneath the seats, making it suitable for both aftermarket and factory-fitted audio systems.
The amplifier delivers 150W per channel at 2Ω and 100W per channel at 4Ω. When operated in bridged mode, it can produce 320W × 2 at 4Ω, allowing users to connect higher-powered speakers or subwoofers.
Measuring 191 × 105 × 48 mm, the UNO-AMP-4-100 has been designed with a compact form factor to simplify installation without requiring significant additional space inside the vehicle. The amplifier offers a total harmonic distortion of up to 0.05 per cent, a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 96dB and a frequency response ranging from 10Hz to 20kHz.
The unit supports an input sensitivity range of 400mV to 6V, enabling compatibility with a variety of factory and aftermarket head units. For electrical protection, it features twin 40A fuses designed to help safeguard the system against power surges and overload conditions.
Anand Kumar, Business Head, Uno Minda Aftermarket, said the company has focused on combining stronger audio output with a compact design to give customers greater flexibility when upgrading their in-car entertainment systems.
The UNO-AMP-4-100 is available through Uno Minda’s offline retail network as well as online platforms including Uno Minda Kart, Amazon and Flipkart. The amplifier carries an MRP of Rs 13,999.
