Tata Cars launches Curvv Series X with enhanced features and value

Tata Cars has expanded its SUV portfolio with the launch of the Curvv Series X, strengthening the positioning of its SUV Coupé with a combination of distinctive design, performance, technology, comfort and safety.

Priced from ₹9.99 lakh, the new Curvv Series X introduces a broader selection of variants and features, giving customers greater flexibility across different price points and requirements.

The range includes Smart X, Pure X, Pure X+, Creative X+, Accomplished X and Accomplished X+ variants, along with #DARK editions for select trims. The portfolio is offered with multiple petrol and diesel powertrain options, including manual and automatic transmission choices.

The entry-level Smart X focuses on everyday comfort, convenience and safety. Its feature set includes R-Comfort Seats with passive ventilation, R17 Aero Style Wheels, rear armrest with EasySip Cup Docks, flush door handles and multiple drive modes. Safety equipment includes six airbags, ESP and ABS with EBD, along with LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster and Reverse Guide Parking Assist.

The Pure X and Pure X+ variants add greater emphasis on connectivity and comfort. Features include a 10.25-inch Ultra View infotainment system by HARMAN with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six-speaker audio, automatic climate control, cruise control, push-button start, auto-folding ORVMs and rear AC vents.

The Pure X+ further adds a leatherette interior package and R17 Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels, while customers looking for a more distinctive appearance can opt for the #DARK edition with blacked-out interior and exterior elements.

Moving up the range, the Creative X+ brings additional premium features such as an AeroView voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, R18 Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels and a 360-degree 3D surround-view camera with Blind View Monitor.

The variant also features dual 10.25-inch displays comprising the HARMAN infotainment system and digital cockpit with navigation. Additional equipment includes TPMS, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and an illuminated cooled glove box.

At the top end, the Accomplished X and Accomplished X+ variants add advanced safety and premium cabin technologies. These include an L2 ADAS suite, while the Accomplished X+ also offers a gesture-controlled powered tailgate.

Other highlights include sequential LED DRLs and taillamps with welcome and goodbye animations, ambient mood lighting, ventilated front seats and a six-way powered driver seat. The cabin also features a JBL immersive sound system, 12.3-inch infotainment display, wireless charging, twin-zone climate control, Breathe IQ air purifier, iRA connected-car technology and Alexa integration.

Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said the Curvv Series X builds on the distinctive SUV Coupé design introduced by the Curvv while bringing together performance, comfort, premium features and safety at a more attractive price point. He highlighted the new range’s positioning around value without compromising the character of the Curvv.

The Curvv Series X follows the customer-focused approach previously introduced with the Curvv.ev Series X, offering customers a broader choice of features, technology and comfort across the range.

With the latest launch, Tata Cars is strengthening its presence in the SUV Coupé segment while expanding the Curvv portfolio across multiple price points, powertrains and feature levels.

The Curvv Series X combines distinctive styling with connected technology, advanced safety systems and premium comfort features, giving Tata Cars another offering aimed at customers seeking a feature-rich SUV without moving into significantly higher price segments.
