Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. recorded 67,753 units in total sales across its domestic and international markets in August 2026, compared with 43,315 units in August 2025, marking a 56% year-on-year growth.
Domestic passenger vehicle sales stood at 65,253 units, up 59% from 41,001 units recorded in August 2025. International passenger vehicle sales increased 8% to 2,500 units from 2,314 units during the corresponding period.
The company’s total passenger vehicle sales, including electric vehicles, reached 67,753 units, reflecting the overall 56% year-on-year growth.
Electric vehicle sales across domestic and international markets stood at 16,549 units in August 2026, compared with 8,540 units in August 2025, representing a 94% year-on-year increase.
The company’s portfolio includes cars and SUVs supported by multiple powertrain options, connected technologies and intelligent personal mobility solutions. It also continues to focus on electric, connected and future-ready mobility solutions.
The August performance highlights strong growth in Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles’ overall sales, with electric vehicles recording particularly strong momentum during the month.
