Landmark Cars joins hands with OLX India to build phygital used-car platform

Landmark Cars has partnered with OLX India to create an integrated phygital platform for pre-owned cars, combining online vehicle discovery with physical inspections, financing, handover and after-sales services.

The partnership will bring together OLX India’s digital automotive marketplace and Landmark Cars’ physical retail and service infrastructure, creating an end-to-end used-car journey from initial search to post-sale support.

As part of the planned rollout, more than 140 Landmark Cars retail and service touchpoints across 12 states will be connected with OLX India’s online platform. Landmark Cars said its network has served more than 500,000 customers since inception, while OLX India reaches more than 23 million consumers involved in buying or selling used cars annually.

The integrated proposition is expected to allow customers to discover vehicles online before moving to physical locations for inspections and test drives. The transaction journey will also cover financing, registration transfer, vehicle delivery and subsequent servicing and warranty support.

The rollout will initially cover selected cities before being expanded to other markets, subject to the partnership’s performance milestones. OLX India will manage the digital customer journey, including vehicle discovery and online engagement, while its VAYA AI platform will contribute pricing intelligence, buyer-seller matching, vehicle-condition insights and market analysis.

Landmark Cars’ outlets will serve as physical Experience Centres where prospective buyers can inspect vehicles and complete handovers. Under the arrangement, vehicles will be acquired and sold through a revenue-sharing model under a co-branded proposition. Quality certification and after-sales support will also form part of the offering.

Aryaman Thakker, Executive Director, Landmark Cars, said the partnership would help the company develop a scalable presence in the pre-owned vehicle segment while maintaining a disciplined approach to growth. He added that the collaboration brings together OLX India’s digital reach with Landmark’s physical network, vehicle inspection capabilities, financing relationships and after-sales infrastructure.

Varun Sanghi, Chairman, OLX India, said the collaboration is designed to bring multiple stages of the used-car purchase journey together, spanning discovery, pricing, matchmaking, quality checks, vehicle handover and after-sales support. He said Landmark contributes its dealership footprint and physical infrastructure, while OLX India brings digital reach, technology, data and market intelligence.

Landmark Cars operates dealerships for brands including Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Jeep, Volkswagen, BYD, Renault, Mahindra & Mahindra, Kia, MG Motor and Citroën, alongside Ashok Leyland commercial vehicle retail. Its business covers new-vehicle sales, after-sales services, pre-owned passenger vehicle sales and the facilitation of financing and insurance products.

OLX India is part of CarTrade Tech, whose wider ecosystem also includes CarWale, BikeWale and Shriram Automall. CarTrade Tech said its platforms collectively reach more than 80 million monthly unique users, while its consumer marketplaces account for more than 63 per cent of India’s online used-car listings. Its remarketing platforms facilitate auctions involving more than 1.5 million vehicles annually, according to the company.
