TVS Motor Company has unveiled the RTX 300, a new adventure trail motorcycle developed for European A2 licence holders and built on the company’s RT-XD4 engine platform.
The RTX 300 combines rally-inspired styling with a steel trellis chassis, long-travel suspension and a technology package designed to bring premium adventure features to the mid-capacity segment. It offers 180 mm of suspension travel at both ends and 200 mm of ground clearance.
The motorcycle comes with four ride modes: Urban, Rain, Tour and Rally, allowing riders to adjust throttle response, traction control and ABS according to road and trail conditions. Other features include electronic throttle control, cruise control, switchable ABS and a 5-inch TFT display with GPS map mirroring through the SmartXonnect app.
The RTX 300 is powered by a 299 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 36 PS and 28.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch. Its chassis features adjustable WP suspension, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, Bosch dual-channel ABS and mixed-use tyres.
TVS Motor Company President, International Business, Peyman Kargar, said the RTX 300 represents the company’s ambitions for the European market by bringing technology, build quality and warranty support associated with more expensive motorcycles to riders entering the segment.
The motorcycle will be offered in two variants: Essential and Adventurer. The Essential variant is priced at €4,890, while the Adventurer version costs €5,290. Both are scheduled to be available from November 2026.
The Essential variant will be offered in Lightning Black and Pearl White, while the Adventurer will be available in Viper Green. The Adventurer additionally features a bidirectional quickshifter, tyre pressure monitoring, enhanced suspension adjustment, upgraded connectivity and touring accessories.
The RTX 300 will be backed by a five-year manufacturer’s warranty and two years of roadside assistance, with a dedicated accessory range including top boxes, side panniers, tank guards, bash plates, visor extenders, top racks, knuckle guards and raised fenders.
