Ashok Leyland has entered into a strategic vehicle financing partnership with Kerala Grameena Bank to offer convenient and customised funding solutions to its customers.
The partnership was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Viplav Shah, Head – LCV Business, Ashok Leyland, and Gundekar Harish Gangadhar Rao, General Manager, Kerala Grameena Bank. Vimala Vijayabhaskar, Chairperson, Kerala Grameena Bank, was also present at the signing ceremony.
Under the agreement, Kerala Grameena Bank will provide end-to-end financial solutions for customers purchasing Ashok Leyland vehicles. The financing facilities will include vehicle loans with flexible repayment options designed to meet the individual requirements of customers, businesses and fleet operators.
Viplav Shah, Head – LCV Business, Ashok Leyland, said the partnership would improve access to customised financing and support customers in investing in the company’s commercial vehicle range with greater financial flexibility. He added that Ashok Leyland’s vehicles, supported by technology and a focus on total cost of ownership, are designed to improve productivity and profitability for customers.
Vimala Vijayabhaskar, Chairperson, Kerala Grameena Bank, said the partnership reflects the bank’s commitment to addressing the financial requirements of commercial vehicle customers. She added that the collaboration would help extend tailored financing options to businesses operating in Kerala’s commercial vehicle segment.
Ashok Leyland offers a range of Light Commercial Vehicles and Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles, serving applications across the transportation ecosystem. Its portfolio includes intercity light commercial vehicles, long-haul trucks and buses, with an emphasis on safety, comfort and driver convenience.
The company is also expanding its focus on sustainable mobility through alternative-fuelled buses as it works towards supporting cleaner and more efficient transportation in India.
