Cummins India Limited has appointed Gbile Adewunmi as Managing Director and India Regional Leader, effective November 1, 2026. Announced on October 8, the appointment expands Adewunmi’s leadership responsibilities while he continues to lead the Industrial Markets business within Cummins’ Power Systems segment.
In his expanded role, Adewunmi will lead Cummins India Limited and the India region while maintaining his existing responsibilities for Industrial Markets. The appointment brings together regional leadership and industrial business oversight under his expanded remit.
Leadership Experience Across Industrial Power Solutions
Adewunmi currently serves as Vice President, Power Systems Industrial Markets at Cummins. His responsibilities include overseeing the deployment of power solutions across industrial sectors, with areas of focus including mining technologies and hybrid-electric retrofit applications.
His continued leadership of Industrial Markets will allow him to maintain oversight of this business while taking on broader responsibilities for Cummins India Limited and the India region.
The expanded role places regional leadership alongside an existing portfolio focused on industrial applications, where power solutions support demanding operating environments and evolving technology requirements.
